Wprovide strives to enhance the lives of Wpromote employees by connecting them to important charitable organizations through a variety of activities. In the past, we have made cards for patients at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, participated in charitable walks, and had local groups give presentations on pressing issues, among other things. Through this page, we hope to showcase our charitable efforts and promote organizations that are making a difference in and outside of the Los Angeles community. Stay tuned to see what’s coming up next!

With the holidays coming up, we’re always looking for new ways to spread some holiday cheer! With that in mind, we are excited to be hosting our first toy drive this December! The drive will benefit The Richstone Family Center, who works to prevent and treat child abuse, strengthen families, and prevent violence in families, schools, and communities.
Wpromoters love the beach and want to help keep it as clean as possible! For the last X number of years, we’ve worked with the nonprofit organization Heal the Bay to do just that! Their mission is to make the coastal waters and watersheds of Southern California safe, healthy, and clean. Every year, Wpromote employees head to the coast to spend an afternoon cleaning the local beaches. The beach cleanup is definitely an employee favorite and has always been a huge success!
Wprovide is always looking for ways to brighten someone’s day, and one of our favorite ways of doing that is making cards for others. Wpromote employees are more than happy to take an hour out our day to get creative and put a smile on someone’s face. Every year, Wprovide makes cards for Operation Gratitude, A Million Thanks, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and other awesome organizations!
Wpromote loves to spread holiday cheer, and that starts with Thanksgiving! For the last 2 years we’ve
partnered with Drew Child Development Corporation to provide meals to families in need. To make our
Thanksgiving Food Drive that much more fun for employees, we turned it into a competition! There’s
nothing like being able to bring joy to others – and then brag about it. Our employees get really
into it every year and are so happy to be able to make a difference in the lives of others. In 2014 we
donated 45 meals, and were excited when we exceeded that in 2015 with 60 meals.

Read to a Child is a national nonprofit literacy and mentoring organization that inspires caring
adults to read aloud to at-risk children to create better opportunities for their future. This past
school year, Wprovide was proud to participate in the program for the first time. Wpromote employees
were paired up with students at a nearby elementary school. Each week, a group of our employees
spent their lunch hour reading to the kids. Employees were able to share some books they loved
reading throughout childhood, inspiring the children to read more.
Read to a Child works with schools throughout the country, visit their website to learn more and find a school near you.
The 2016 Skechers Tour de Pier event was one that Wprovide, and especially our fearless company leader
Mike Mothner, were very excited to participate in. Each year, this unique fundraising event brings
stationary cycling to the gorgeous Manhattan Beach Pier to support three cancer charities. It’s a really
great local event, with an even better cause, so of course we had to get involved!
We started off strong in our first year, with 4 team bikes. On May 15th, 2016 Wprovide riders took to the pier, along with many of their favorite Wpromoters cheering them on, to support the fight against cancer.

Donating blood isn’t the easiest thing, but it is important, and Wpromote employees know what an
impact it can make. On June 29th, we hosted our second blood drive with the UCLA Blood & Platelet
Center and had an amazing turnout! Employees able to donate were more than happy to spend an hour
doing so, knowing that it could change someone’s life.
We are proud to share that we exceeded our expectations during the blood drive and will be able to save more lives through the donations from our brave employees!

Wpromote employees were all lucky enough to have a great education, which is something we all value
and hold dearly. We understand how important this is and want others to have the same experience.
To help out with this, Wprovide will be hosting a school supplies drive throughout August and
donating the items to School on Wheels.
School on Wheels is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the educational needs of homeless children throughout LA through tutoring and providing school supplies.
To up the ante, we will be turning our first school supplies drive into an inter-office competition. We can’t wait to see how generous, and competitive, our employees get!

The future of our youth and our earth are clearly very important, so why not team up with an
organization that works to benefit both? Tree Musketeers has a vision in which children all over
the world are planting trees and becoming leaders of social change.
Through this organization, Wprovide adopted our first Memory Tree, which was planted in El Segundo on August 20th 2016 and cared for by the youth of Tree Musketeers. We’re excited to watch our tree grow and eventually become mature enough to generate clean oxygen, serve as a noise and pollution buffer, and provide beautification to El Segundo!
