The Role

Wpromote is looking for Junior Business Development Representative to become the next member of our growing sales team. The candidate will work closely with other team members to prospect new business. The ideal candidate will identify new revenue opportunities across a broad range of U.S. companies that we are targeting as prospective clients. You probably even know some of the names of brands we want to make Wpromote clients. It’s challenging and engaging, and the industry evolves every day.  . The ideal candidate will proactively develop a knowledge base and skillset in digital marketing to further both your own personal expertise and the department’s goals.

You Will Be

  • Working closely with business development representatives to understand Wpromote’s ideal client profile and sales process
  • Responsible for a monthly quota of new prospects identified along with contact information
  • Assisting with prospecting clients through research and mapping through companies 
  • Responsible for identifying creative ways to prospect companies (LinkedIn, online lists, etc) while also utilizing an online business directory for assistance.
  • Coordinating events outside of the office to assist in prospecting new business face to face.
  • Utilizing the Salesforce CRM to organize your work.

You Must Have

  • Entry-level, with 1-2 years of business development/sales experience or relevant college experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Google Apps suite is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of comfort using email and the Internet, in particular strong understanding in using search engines such as Google, Bing, etc
  • Ability to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks
  • Comfort with working independently, as well as frequently multitasking
