As Wpromote continues to grow at a rapid pace, our People Operations team needs a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide support for onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, learning and development, and special projects. As the People Operations Coordinator, you’ll use your can-do attitude and passion for people, organization, processes, and details to support the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an engagement ambassador, comfortable with handling highly confidential information, and will know how to prioritize work while understanding the balancing act of managing multiple projects simultaneously. This is a great opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the employee experience at Wpromote. This role will report to the Associate Director of People Operations.

You Will Be:

  • Partnering with the People Operations team for new hire onboarding by working with internal stakeholders to ensure all new hires have a best-in-class onboarding experience 
  • Sending new hire welcome emails to ensure a successful pre-boarding and onboarding experience 
  • Ensuring people data in our HRIS (Paycom) and other internal systems is accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintaining and audit employee files
  • Assisting with handling employee change documentation (promotions, pay changes, supervisor changes, department transfers, relocations, etc.)
  • Assigning anti-harassment and discrimination training to supervisors and employees
  • Supporting our internal mentorship and new hire buddy program
  • Supporting monthly LinkedIn Learning employee training challenges
  • Running various ad hoc reports
  • Creating and monitoring new hire Asana checklists
  • Assisting with annual performance reviews and processes in Culture Amp
  • Supporting day-to-day employee questions and requests
  • Facilitating offboarding process including equipment return, paperwork, final paycheck, and exit interview coordination
  • Coordinating and preparing information for recurring agency all-hands meetings
  • Assisting with planning virtual and in-person events, company offsites, training sessions, and engaging activities to support a hybrid work culture
  • Participating in projects and executing employee engagement programs
  • Assisting with various aspects of HR compliance
  • Collaborating with People Operations team to foster a culture of inclusion belonging and assist with engagement initiative projects
  • Ability to work in office on an as needed basis

You Must Have:

  • 1-2 years experience in HR or People Operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and employment law
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • Familiar with Google Sheets or Excel using basic to intermediate formulas, and pivot tables
  • Experience with Paycom, CultureAmp, and LinkedIn Learning is a plus
  • High emotional intelligence
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to step in wherever help is needed
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful – ability to create order out of chaos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and professionalism
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
