The Role

We are looking for a Senior Digital Media Planner who will be working with our Programmatic activation team and Media Strategy team to ensure our clients have the right media partnerships to meet and exceed their business goals. You will need to have experience with media planning across direct media partnerships and publisher media. This role  entails working on one large client with a full team to help support you with any questions or needs that you may encounter. 

If you are someone with a knack for building relationships with vendors/publishers, have a strong understanding of digital media mixes, and experience with sizable budgets that shift frequently, this could be a perfect match!

You Will Be

  • Contributing to the planning of seasonal and ad hoc campaigns across direct partner media, inclusive of,
  • RFPing and evaluating media partners based on their ability to achieve campaign goals
  • Supporting partner communication related media plan feedback, creative strategy & tagging/reporting needs
  • Evaluating media plans based on goal KPIs
  • Presenting partnership recommendations to clients
  • Ensuring partners have what they need in order to activate plans
  • Communicating program updates and recommendations to the client
  • Helping to lead the adoption of better measurement for partners so they can be evaluated like other self-directed media partners
  • Contributing to performance reporting insights, partnering with the Data Intelligence team on automation needs
  • Supporting ongoing partner communication and joining meetings to stay up to date on current program performance, connecting on mid and post campaign read outs and new opportunities
  • Partnering with Programmatic counterparts for holistic Display/Video reporting and sharing of cross-program learnings across creative, audiences, formats, publishers
  • Working with Coordinators and Ad Ops in trafficking
  • Helping with tracking changes to partnerships across media plan inclusions, budgets and new IOs
  • Taking a leading role in creative strategy across publisher direct media, inclusive of,
  • Owning creative project management between media partners and the client team, inclusive of contributing to the development of new creative workflow processes
  • Leading weekly client creative priority emails and daily status updates for open items
  • Helping develop creative reporting for Direct IO media
  • QAing creative for new launches and ensure timely planning for upcoming creative swaps

You Must Have

  • 2-4 years of experience working in media planning for publisher direct media and/or programmatic media
  • Experience with trafficking programmatic media
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Experience developing, optimizing, analyzing and reporting on paid campaigns across a variety of KPIs
  • Experience working with analytics teams on granular program tracking and performance dashboard creation
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and respond to situations quickly
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
