The Role  

Wpromote is looking to add a  Digital Video Editor to our fast-growing Performance Creative team. The ideal person has strong editing skills for digital ads that cut through the clutter, and has experience creating ads from start to finish for digital platforms – Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, CTV, etc.  If you love making visually digital ads creative and have an interest in how data directly affects how we tailor our ads to the right target audience, this could be a great fit. (The ideal candidate is based in Los Angeles)

You Will Be

  • Working with the Performance Creative Managers and Performance Creative Directors, to create best-in-class digital video ads for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other forms of paid media
  • Must be able to understand the nuance of each media channel and have a keen sense of best practices for each channel
  • Taking a brief and editing ads to delivery 
  • Incorporating motion text and playful visual effects to ensure creative is thumb-stopping and engaging 
  • Work proficiently to balance multiple projects and ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to scale out ads with resizes and testing elements 
  • Using data insights to build effective ads 
  • Adhering to best practices for asset organization

You Must Have

  • 4+ years of experience editing for digital media platforms (FB, IG, SC, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts)
  • Advanced-to-expert experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of After Effects 
  • Demonstrated ability to read briefs, marketing messaging, and audience segmentation
  • Strong experience in advertising along with competency in Direct Response 
  • Working knowledge with copywriting and how copywriting translates over into the edit a plus
  • The ability to work autonomously, taking initiative to own iterations/refreshes on existing work
  • A portfolio of your work/reel submitted with your application
