The Role

We’re looking for a Converged TV Associate Director to join the rapidly expanding team that is changing the way video investment is positioned as part of a media strategy. You will lead a team in the development, execution, and stewardship of campaigns across traditional Linear, Advanced TV, and OTT/CTV. Your complex and diverse portfolio of clients will be a mix of both big and small that constantly challenges you, and with extensive experience and/or a proven track record, you could be working with some of our biggest brands. You’ll be trusted to oversee all account activity, collaborate with managers from other channels, and come up with campaign strategies for your book of clients.

You Will Be

  • Overseeing the execution of Converged TV campaigns, including but not limited to:
  • Requesting and reviewing proposals from vendors
  • Collaborating with teams to identify and develop audiences
  • Sharing recommendations with teams
  • Tracking in-flight campaigns
  • Compiling and distributing reporting
  • Leading the evaluation, selection, onboarding, and management of technology platforms and relationships needed to support Converged TV offering including Direct IO, DSPs, SSPs
  • Owning tactical plan development, recommendation building, and negotiations across their respective channels 
  • Writing POVs for targeted opportunities on an ongoing basis for clients to further drive their business
  • Effectively collaborating with internal business units to ensure Converged TV capabilities and campaigns meet client needs and campaign objectives
  • Meeting with vendors and technologies in the Converged TV(Linear, Addressable, CTV/OTT) space to understand capabilities and new technologies
  • Collaborating on the creation of training materials to ensure media teams are up to speed on best practices and operating consistently across clients
  • Developing and training the team on negotiating tactics and keeping on top of the latest trends in the industry and the status of the marketplace

You Must Have

  • 4-5+ years of Advanced TV experience within national media investment buying environment
  • A strong understanding of the systems used such as Mediaocean/Prisma or other digital buying tools, Ad Servers/Verification, DSPs, Social Platforms, DMPs, and internal proprietary tools
  • Strong understanding of the TV landscape (Linear TV, FEP, VOD, OTT, Mobile, Connected TV, Addressable)
  • The ability to source, learn, and leverage technologies easily
  • Strong analytical background
  • Proven leadership ability directing and motivating teams
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation experience
  • Leading key vendor relationships
  • The ability to present ideas, plans, and results with confidence, and debate and address challenging questions
