The Role

As a Senior Account Director, you will serve as a key relationship team member and partner with clients and related third parties on both a strategic and tactical level. You will provide support in relationship management, integrated digital marketing, and marketing strategy to help drive critical success for clients’ businesses. This position will also draw on project management and media strategy skills, including project definition, scope and risk management; strategy, including understanding of business and marketing objectives; measurement, and analysis.

You Will Be

  • Managing the client relationship and act as the lead point of contact for all client requests
  • Seeking opportunities to advance the client relationship and identify new business opportunities
  • Developing a deep understanding of each client’s business, industry, and competition
  • Bringing strategic and innovative ideas to client engagements based on working with Wpromote Paid Media, Earned Media, and Digital Intelligence specialists and understanding cross-channel marketing dynamics
  • Owning all aspects of the statement of work – including management of deliverables, drafting new versions during renewal periods, change orders when required, and monthly billing
  • Leading client status calls, quarterly business reviews, strategic deliverables, and any additional client calls or asks
  • Managing budget inclusive of overall maintenance, forecasting, and pacing
  • Leading the development of integrated marketing plans across multiple channels, including but not limited to: Programmatic channels (Online Video, Connected TV, YouTube and Display), Paid Social, Affiliate, Paid Search, SEO, and Content Marketing
  • Liaising with partner agency or other third parties to support overarching planning initiatives and workstreams
  • Interpreting results from various analytics sources to ensure client’s goals are being met and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with Project Management to support strategic operational oversight, optimization, and implementation with task management tools and processes
  • Managing overall account profitability, including approving and tracking agency hours and identifying potential issues, as well as opportunities
  • Serving as quality control for all deliverables
  • Overseeing account and specialist teams on a project and client basis

You Must Have

  • 6-8 years experience marketing in digital channels – strong background in media strategy focusing on Paid Social and Programmatic channels
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Analytical and logical; strategic marketing skills (effective storytelling and deck building, competitive assessments, industry analysis, SWOT, etc)
  • The ability to work in a “team structure” that fosters collaboration
  • An energetic attitude and be passionate about your career
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Confidence under pressure, be able to clearly articulate thoughts and rationale
  • Solid and proven ability to help lead a team
  • Experience directly or indirectly managing Client Services and Project Management team members as well as channel teams
  • Experience working on clients with a large media budget a plus
  • Experience managing Paid and Earned media deliverables a plus
  • Experience working in entertainment or streaming and/or subscription-based business plus 
  • Experience with Looker or Tableau a plus
