Strategy and Planning Associate Director

Atlanta, GA • Full Time

The Role

As a Digital Strategist, you will play a leadership role driving digital marketing strategy across a fast paced entertainment vertical. As a key partner to our Client Services and channel teams, you will develop strategic solutions to our clients’ digital challenges, through both short-term project engagements and longer-term client partnerships.

You Will Be

  • Participating in client strategy sessions to understand key business priorities, marketing targets, performance goals and KPIs
  • Leveraging data, tools, market research, and competitive trends to generate strategic insights
  • Applying those insights to develop strategic recommendations in the form of client presentations, strategic frameworks, and informed points-of-view 
  • Collaborating with creative, media, and technology teams internally, and potentially external partners and agencies, to ensure the viability of ideas and concepts
  • Leading research, ideation, and/or brainstorming sessions with internal and agency teams
  • Identifying “course corrections” for adjusting strategy based on performance, business or landscape shifts  
  • Partnering with Business Development and other channel leads to serve as the strategy expert to support new business opportunities
  • Reporting to a Planning & Strategy Director

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of agency or client-side experience in digital strategy
  • A deep understanding of all digital channels (paid search, paid social, SEO, website user experience, content, programmatic, email)
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills 
  • The ability to work both individually and in teams
  • The drive to meet and exceed all internal and external deadlines
  • A firm understanding of emerging digital trends 
  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field, MBA a plus
