The Role

Our team is currently looking for a talented Senior Manager of People Operations to partner with and report to our Director, People Operations as a strategic business partner to our employees across several paid media departments, consisting of approximately 250 employees.


As one of the fastest growing and successful independent marketing agencies, the Senior Manager will help develop and manage a best-in class, strategic HR organization focused on progressive people management practices. You Will Be

  • Serving as a talent partner by helping to create supportive and innovative People Operations programs to drive the organization forward
  • Managing, facilitating, and advancing the delivery of consistently exceptional People Operations services in the areas of training, employee relations, DEI, on and off-boarding, employee communications, organizational development, performance management, benefits, compensation, compliance and coaching
  • Owning and continually improving our internal mentorship program, WProtege
  • Understanding the business and the team’s capabilities to enable more customized and actionable recommendations and decisions
  • Participating in team meetings to help drive and accomplish team goals through better people decisions and programs
  • Monitoring the organization’s culture to ensure alignment with our core values
  • Providing coaching to management and employees to resolve conflicts, enhance team effectiveness, and ensure support of organization changes and business plans
  • Implementing People Operations policies and compliance aligned with legal regulations
  • Developing and leading various trainings to support leadership development curriculum
  • Coordinating performance reviews, merit increases, performance and bonus plans to leading performance review process and driving conversations around merit and bonus plans with your remit
  • Driving growth, presence and effectiveness of People Operations strategy and objectives
  • Partner with other team members to manage leaves of absence

You Must Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in People Operations/Human Resources
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in human resources business partner role role, closely partnering with business leaders, driving collaboration and implementing change projects
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully handling a myriad of employee relations issues
  • Interest in learning and development; L&D implementation experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Federal and state labor laws
  • Proven track record in enabling and driving organizational change and performance excellence
  • A basic knowledge of relevant marketing/advertising industry issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Process and detail oriented, including strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Paycom experience or other HRIS, a plus
