The Role

Wpromote is looking for an Associate IT Project Manager to join our team! As an Associate IT Project Manager, you will be working alongside the IT team to plan and implement scalable technical projects to support the expanding company IT needs. You will be taking projects from start to finish establishing goals and monitoring success. This role is a bridge between IT and other departments to investigate problems and bring about new solutions.The ideal candidate is someone who has project management experience in a fast-paced IT department with competing priorities. If you are an organized problem solver that communicates well with company stakeholders, this could be a perfect opportunity.

You Will Be

  • The primary point of contact for other departments and the technology team to gather requirements for technical solutions
  • Researching and evaluating technical vendors against project scope
  • Responsible for planning and managing timelines – coordinating resources to implement new solutions
  • Communicating status, prioritization, and implementation process with project stakeholders
  • Re-establish timelines/resources based on impediments and new priorities
  • Creating processes and documentation for project management/solution evaluation process
  • Analyzing and documenting current internal IT processesRecommending new solutions to improve internal IT processes
  • Aiding in conducting research of new/emerging software and hardware to provide future efficiencies
  • Splitting time (10-15%) with IT Support to understand internal applications and processes

You Must Have

  • 2-3 years of IT project management and vendor evaluation experience
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting IT solutions/processes and SaaS applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • A strong understanding of technical solution requirement gathering and SaaS implementation
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Methodology
  • Experience with working/managing projects in Google Workspaces and Mac environments
  • Worked with Asana and/or JiraStrong problem-solving skills and considering alternative options
  • Solid customer service skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Have

  • Working knowledge with security or cloud infrastructure projects
