As the digital landscape becomes more complex and competitive, brands look for ways to dial in efficiency and get the best return on their paid media spend. In the September 12, 2019 Google Livestream. Wpromote was one of two top Google Premier Partners featured as case studies on how Optimization Score can be a huge advantage for digital marketers and their clients. 

The Optimization score uses a percentage from 0% to 100% to grade how well each account is taking advantage of current opportunities. It also shows recommendations to improve the score, for example by pausing underperforming keywords or adding additional ads. 

Wpromote COO Michael Block spoke to the importance of both optimizing performance and highlighting overall account progress, saying, “as an agency, our job is to make sure that we are creating value for the client on an ongoing basis in a world that’s constantly changing and then also articulating that value as effectively as possible.”

Senior Paid Search Manager Ali Wurfel has used the optimization score with several accounts, noting that it “serves as a one-stop-shop for you to take a look at… what’s going on in the account… what might be missing from it.”

Wpromote’s own internal testing showed that the tool can save up to 2-3 hours per week per manager. These huge time savings can then flow through to be dedicated to more strategic thinking.
