Tues News: 11/4

Michael Block | November 4th, 2008

It’s Election Day, and hopefully, you got out there and voted already. I know I did and it felt great. Whether you’re an Obamaniac or a McCainiac, you’re probably trying your best to find out what’s going on during the day as far as the progress of the election. Well, unfortunately, most sites are going to wait until polls close to give you results, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a bunch of interesting stuff out there that you can check out in the mean time!

  • If you’re looking to keep up on the latest election results, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to do it than CNN’s live, interactive map. Just try to work after you check this out; the map will not let you!
  • Think Google is sitting around watching the election? Wrong-o! Google is busy cozying up Warren Buffett and investing in geothermal energy. I guess that now that they Google Earth iPhone app can show you everything on the surface of the planet from your phone, Google has decided they need to start digging. I, for one, welcome our new Google overlords…
  • Remember the old Icahn/Yahoo/MSN deal that was supposedly put to bed earlier this summer? Well, it’s up for a midnight snack. SearchEngineLand.com reports that not only is Yahoo trying to wheel and deal with MSN once again, but they are also looking to retool their Google deal as well.

Yahoo may be a dark horse in this race, but, just like McCain, it’s still got a puncher’s chance. Republican or Democrat, McCainer or Obaman, thanks for stopping by. Read up on and keep up with the online world; keep reading Tues News! Catch ya later and don’t forget to
