“On Wednesdays, we wear pink.” Whether you saw the movie Mean Girls or not, chances are you’ve heard that line before. Why? Because it perfectly encompasses the stereotype of “that” girl. A few months ago an infographic called “Evolution of the Geek” went around the web. This infographic included the original computer geek, everyone’s favorite and largely stereotyped geek, Mr. Steve Urkel, the geek nouveau from Glee, and other geek-chic variants. Although the concept was spot on, we noticed one thing missing: female geeks. That omission prompted us to create our own infographic, but with a twist: “Which Female Tech Influencer Are You?” Our infographic starred some of tech’s leading ladies: Google’s Marissa Mayer, Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg, Cnet journalist Caroline McCarthy, PR consultant Sarah Evans, and Net-A-Porter Founder and CEO Natalie Massenet.
