After a much-needed weekend to recover the traveling Wpromote crew is back in the office and more pumped about search marketing than ever! Our weeklong escapade in NYC was filled with extremely memorable and entertaining times, good weather as well as fantastic networking and learning opportunities. The mWpromoteSESBoothain purpose of this trip was to exhibit and speak at Search Engine Strategies NY. This event hosted over 5,500 attendees, which accounted for the crowded exhibit halls and well attended sessions. Many people were lured to our booth that overflowed with fortune cookies promising a 1 in 3 chance to win a secret prize (an airplane size bottle of alcohol). Thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello and learn a little bit more about Wpromote. We had some great conversations and enjoyed meeting all of you! We can confidently say this is the best SEM event we have exhibited at so far and we excited to continue to be a part of SES conferences in the future.

The highlight of this conference was our vendor session: 8 Things You Aren’t Doing That Will Boost Your SEM Results. This session was packed with over 200 attendees eager to learn the secrets and strategies Mike Mothner and Mike Stone had to share. A Wpromote trip is not complete without some exciting adventures! These were abundant in New York. From days sightseeing to drinks overlooking Central Park at the Mandarin Oriental we took full advantage of everything the city has to offer. The most memorable night of the trip was spent with our friends at AzoogleAds. This team likes to have a good time, just like Wpromote and so we knew we were in for quite the night! We had an outrageous dinner at Benihanas followed by Karaoke at Sing Sing in Alphabet City. The favorite songs of the night were “Tiny Dancer” performed by Mike Stone and Audrey Breheney (pictured here) as well as “Hooked on a Feeling” which is a classic around the Wpromote office.  KaraokeThe trip and conference culminated with a celebration at China Grill with extra large cocktails and delicious food.
