When I saw the title of the post, I was hoping that you wouldn’t suggest one over the other. As you said, ideally you’d have strong PPC and SEO campaigns. Good article.
For the short goals ppc is a great way to boost traffic but i combine both. SEO is for the long term the best solution but is also the most time consuming..
Boost Your Sales with Images
Your website can always benefit from adding a few well-placed graphics. Images break the monotony caused by blocks of text, or the garishness of screaming banners poorly placed in the page. More important, images actually enhance your credibility with your visitors if you choose the pictures carefully and lay them out on the page properly.
I guess it all really depends on what type of website you have also. A site showing just adsense is really not smart anymore to use pay per click, however if you are selling others products or your own it makes total sense.
The golden triangle above is great when thinking about what you are trying to accomplish from your marketing. Sometimes we have had customers with important keywords use both organic and pay per click because it made total sense for the keyword and they achieved good branding also from doing both.
Using Google analytics one can really see what they need to be doing for their website and where they need to be spending money. Website marketing is a art and science at the same time.
